Holistic coaching is coaching a client on their physical (Body), mental (Mind) and spiritual (Soul) level. I use not only my own spiritual life experiences but also my background as a Yoga/Meditation teacher, Psych-K facilitator, Reiki practitioner. I show a client what self-realization is about and leading the way to self-empowerment and self-healing. I will look at where a client is at in the present now and where they want to be. I will identify and remove the blocks that are caused by limited and false beliefs and expand their spiritual awareness, aligning the client with their true path of happiness. In a customized plan I will create and develop strategies to give the power back to the client and have them walk away with tools that they can easily apply and use in their life.

My life as being a coach in the making … I feel I have been a coach all my life. I love sharing my knowledge and bring people insights about themselves. When I was 11 years old I started engaging the spiritual journey. I wanted to know about my world: the seen and unseen, the within and without. I would read every spiritual book I could find, I would engage in metaphysical workshops and surf the internet for videos, articles. and blogs on any spiritual topic. I gained a lot of information and experienced spiritual deep insights. I started to talk about it with friends, family, co-workers and sometimes even strangers. Needless to say that some people were not always open for it, hence learning my first lesson in coaching: people need to be ready to hear what you say and when they are ready they will ask for your help.

In 1998, when I officially started to be a French teacher, I had an instant connection with my students because I was playful, real, honest and myself. Not only would students appreciate me, but also parents, fellow teachers and other employees in the school. During my teaching years, I participated in workshops on coaching and communicating; learning how to listen, how to observe, how to not get into judgments and let people talk. For many years I have been helping my colleagues and my students through coaching and yoga and/or meditation lessons.

In 2001 I became a Hatha Yoga teacher. I was learning to be a physical, mental and emotional coach. Since a vegetarian diet is important for Yogi’s I became a vegetarian for about 5 years. I explored food in general and what it does to the body because I had a sensitive digestive system. I did my own research on the Internet on food and the connection to the body, mind, and spirit. I conversed with health coaches and tried different foods and diets myself. When I started teaching my own Yoga groups I learned even more by just observing how people move their body in a Yoga lesson. The way they would move would be based on what they think, what they eat and what kind of lifestyle they have. In that time I also used massage to help others, but those were only friends and family. Through giving massages and having massage exchanges with massage therapists I understood that not every massage is meant for everybody, literally. The most important lesson I learned about massage is that it can be of help for relief, emotionally and physically. The conclusion I made, working with my own body, was to get rid of any (chronic) discomfort I had, I needed to examine my mind and body to not have to come back for more treatments.

In 2000 and 2001 I got initiated in Reiki 1st and 2nd degree, as you can read on my other page. I learned how I could be a vessel of healing energy not only for myself but also for others. I could even direct the energy to situations in my life, so my life would be less hard. These initiations and the situations I was in gave me even more insight on how to coach a person through body, mind, and soul. Hence the term Holistic coaching.

In 2006 at the University of the Mind, I learned even more about the brain, the power of the mind and using energy and visualizations techniques to influence anything I wanted in my life. It was fascinating to experience how my mind, body, spirit and consciousness work. I engaged reprogramming processes that came from the latest science on Quantum Physics, telling us that we are the Observer.

The workshops I have done just recently were on Soul breathing and Psychological Kinesiology (Psych-K), both disciplines work with the conscious and subconscious mind.

Everything I have learned and experienced as a coach in school, as a Yoga and Meditation teacher, as a Reiki practitioner, as a Metaphysics teacher, as a Conscious Breather and Psych-K facilitator made me into the Holistic coach I am today. I am using everything that works to create a customized holistic coaching program for whoever is ready to change their life physically, mentally and spiritually.
